Microsoft releases monthly updates for its Operating Systems and Office products. These updates correct bugs in the programs and security issues that have been found. We test these updates and deploy the applicable software to customer servers and workstations. This proactive approach can avoid expensive down times and system slowdowns. Our update service also helps to lower the risk of hackers, removes spyware and reviews the overall health of your system.
Services Provided:
- Monthly review of overall Network health
- Weekly review and installation of all Operating System patches, hot fixes, security fixes, and updates on each covered workstation.
- Weekly review and installation of all Microsoft Office and Outlook patches, hot fixes, security fixes and updates on each covered workstation
- Daily review and update of Antivirus software and definitions on all covered workstations
- Notification of customers of interim virus threats and methods to minimize risk
- Testing of workstations for security vulnerabilities and notification of these vulnerabilities and risks
- Monthly review and installation of Server Operating System patches, hot fixes, security fixes and updates on all covered servers
- Ongoing review and monitoring of virus activity on the network
- Monthly update of Internet Applications with the latest security patches
- Monthly review and update of firmware on firewalls of covered network
- Monthly review of backup procedures and daily review of backup software error logs
- Monthly review and installation of Backup software updates
- Monthly scan and removal of spyware applications
- Assistance in removing any virus (at a reduced rate) that infects covered systems
- Assistance in recovering from security breaches (at a reduced rate) on covered systems
- Periodic defragmentation of Server Disk drives to improve performance
